Fellowship Day School and Fellowship After-School Care were established in 1997 as a part of the outreach ministry of Fellowship Presbyterian Church.  The Day School and After-School Care programs serve at the pleasure of the Session of Fellowship Presbyterian Church under the guidance of a school board and school directors.  The schools are an inclusive ministry without regard for religious belief, gender, class, race, or national origin.

Our programs always place an emphasis on the uniqueness
of each child so that they may learn to value others in the same way.

Fellowship Day School is a morning school providing programs for Two-year-olds through Kindergarten.  We believe that children learn best through play and activities that are age and developmentally appropriate.  The primary goal of the Day School is to create a safe, happy and nurturing environment in which each child can grow spiritually, physically, socially, intellectually and emotionally, and, as a result of his or her experience, begin to develop a sense of wonder, an enjoyment of learning, and a positive attitude toward future school experiences.

Fellowship After-School Care is dedicated to providing a safe, caring, and creative program to enrich children in grades K-5^th during their after-school hours. The program creates opportunities for children to interact with adults and other children in a comfortable and nurturing atmosphere, providing peace of mind to parents with the knowledge that their children are well-supervised and loved.

Programs

Day School

• 2 year old classes:  Tuesday/Thursday, with optional Fridays

• 3 year old classes:  Monday/Wednesday/Friday , with optional Tuesdays and/or Thursdays

• Pre-K (4 year old) classes:  Monday – Thursday, with optional Fridays

• Kindergarten:  Monday - Friday
   

Hours are 9:00am to 12:00 for all preschool classes, with an optional Lunch Bunch hour from 12:00 – 1:00pm. Lunch Bunch fees are $4 per day for Twos – Pre-K.  Our Kindergarten hours are 9:00am to 1:00pm (lunch is included in the day). 

The Day School is in session from the day after Labor Day through the last Friday in May. We follow the Guilford County Schools calendar for all teacher workdays and holidays during our school year.

After-School Care

• Accepting children enrolled in Kindergarten through 5th grade

• Child to Counselor Ratio: 8 to 1

• Hours of operation 2:30 – 5:45pm

• Activities include: daily snack, supervised outdoor and indoor activities, homework tutorial hour, private piano instruction available

• Care on early release days, and Child Care is offered on teacher workdays and holidays

• Van service available

We currently have available space in our Day School Twos and Threes programs, and in our After-School Care Program. 

Beginning January 24, 2011, we will be registering children for the
2011 – 2012 school year.
